800th death anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi
To mark the solemn occasion of the 800th death
anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi, the FSMA
Sisters (Franciscan Sisters of St. Mary of the
Angels) from the Jaipur and Mhow provinces
gathered at Shanthi Sadhana (FISI), Bengaluru,
from October 17 to 22. Guided and animated by
Fr. Anil Silvano Fernandes, OFM Cap., the
spiritual retreat brought together 50
participants seeking deep spiritual renewal,
contemplation, and special graces. Throughout
these sacred days, the sisters engaged in
reflective prayer, meaningful silence, and
shared fraternity, drawing fresh inspiration
from the life and legacy of St. Francis to
revitalize their commitment to their mission and
consecrated life.
