at-least a month prior to the commencement of the
respective course either personally or by the major
superiors for their own members. The application form
can be sent by regular post or via e-mail. Payments
should be made through D.D. in favor of "Shanthi
Sadhana Trust".

Lectio Brevis 2026
The Franciscan
Institute of Spirituality in India (FISI) hosted
its annual Lectio Brevis on June 16, 2026, at
the Mini Aula - FISI to inaugurate the academic
year 2026-27.
The day commenced at 6:30 a.m. with Morning
Prayer, followed by the Mass of the Holy Spirit
at 6:45 a.m. The official inauguration ceremony
began at 9:00 a.m. with a Prayer Dance performed
by ASMI, leading into a welcome address by Fr.
Salvador Fernandes, OFM Cap.
The program featured a special presentation
commemorating the 800th Year of the Death of St.
Francis by Fr. Thadeus Ekka, OFM Cap, alongside
the formal introduction of the incoming freshers.
Following an introduction to the DFS Course by
Fr. Robin Minin Lopez, OFM Cap, the event
concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Guardian Fr.
Sandeep, OFM Cap
